Dementia is the UK’s biggest health and social care challenge - and too many families face it without the support they need. At Dementia UK, we are here to change that. Every day, our specialist Admiral Nurses provide life-changing support to help families through the fear and confusion of dementia.

As the only charity in the UK dedicated to supporting families through specialist dementia nursing, we are bold in our ambition and focused on our strategy. Our goal is simple but profound; a world where no one faces dementia alone - where everyone gets the specialist support they need. We want to ensure that every family affected by dementia has access to the expert, compassionate support of an Admiral Nurse.

We are proud of our recent growth and the increasing recognition of Admiral Nursing as a vital part of the dementia care landscape. But we know there is much more to do. Our new charity strategy focuses on expanding our services, strengthening our impact, increasing equity of access, and amplifying the voices of those living with dementia and those who care for them. 

To support these ambitions, we are now seeking a new Director of Finance to join our Leadership Team. You will help shape our culture, lead through complexity, and ensure that we continue to grow in a way that is both values-led and impact-driven.

We are looking for individuals who share our commitment to person-centred care, understand the importance of collaboration, and can bring strategic insight and compassion to our work. You will be joining an ambitious, inclusive and purpose-driven organisation that was recently recognised as the Sunday Times Best Place to Work in the non-profit and charities sector (big organisations).
